SIRGAS-CON network analysis

The SIRGAS-CON network is weekly processed; station positions are daily computed, and the seven individual daily solutions corresponding to a GPS week are combined in one weekly solution. Since GPS week 1495 (August 31, 2008), the SIRGAS-CON stations are classified in four networks: a core network (SIRGAS-CON-C), with a continental coverage, and three densification networks (SIRGAS-CON-D): a northern one (Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Venezuela), a middle one (Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Guyana, French Guyana, Suriname), and a southern one (Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Antarctica). The SIRGAS-CON-C network is processed by the IGS-RNAAC-SIR. The SIRGAS-CON-D sub-networks are computed by the SIRGAS Local Processing Centres. The loosely constrained weekly solutions individually calculated for the densification sub-networks are combined with the loosely constrained weekly solution calculated for the SIRGAS-CON-C core network to obtain compatible station positions and velocities in a continental level. Based on this combination, the final SIRGAS-CON products are provided by the IGS-RNAAC-SIR. Data flow and relationship between Operational Centres, National Data Centres, Processing Centres, and Combination Centres is coordinated by the SIRGAS-WGI (Reference System), President of which is the Network Coordinator.

The individual weekly solutions of the SIRGAS-CON sub-networks delivered by the Processing Centres, the weekly combinations carried out by the Combination Centres, as well as the final SIRGAS products for each week are available at:
