Bedrock Condition : This structural high is limited in the South and North by 2000 m deep E-W oriented fractures. Fracture Spacing : Lying over the bedrock a 700 m thick paleozoic sediment layer is found. It is mainly composed by quartzite. Overlying this there are 600 m of tertiary sediments which are almost horizontal. These are mainly composed by clay and sandstone.
