Subject: [SIR-Mail] No.510: KOUR: upgrade of antenna and receiver From: Laura Sanchez ******************************************************************************** SIR Electronic Mail 2012-11-22 16:59:34 UTC Message No. 510 ******************************************************************************** Author: Mark van Kints Dear all, As of 20/11/2012 13:00UTC our GNSS station at Kourou is running with a new multi-GNSS Septentrio receiver and antenna. Data is not yet uploaded to the CDDIS server, but will be so within next few days when testing has concluded. Details of the changes are as follows. 3.14 Receiver Type : SEPT POLARX4 Satellite System : GPS+GLO+GAL+CMP+QZSS+SBAS Serial Number : 3001301 Firmware Version : 2.3.4 Elevation Cutoff Setting : 0 Date Installed : 2012-11-20T13:00Z Date Removed : (CCYY-MM-DDThh:mmZ) Temperature Stabiliz. : 1 Additional Information : (multiple lines) 4.8 Antenna Type : SEPCHOKE_MC NONE Serial Number : 5129 Antenna Reference Point : BAM Marker->ARP Up Ecc. (m) : 0.0850 Marker->ARP North Ecc(m) : 0.0000 Marker->ARP East Ecc(m) : 0.0000 Alignment from True N : 0 Antenna Radome Type : NONE Radome Serial Number : Antenna Cable Type : (vendor & type number) Antenna Cable Length : (m) Date Installed : 2012-11-20T13:00Z Date Removed : (CCYY-MM-DDThh:mmZ) Additional Information : (multiple lines) Also, the external reference has changed from 5MHz to 10MHz using the same maser as before with a frequency doubler, which might slightly affect the stability of the clock. On another note, the station NNOR which was upgraded last month, is now providing data after several weeks of maintenance and network issues at the station, and this data will be available on CDDIS servers at the same time as the KOUR data, most probably at the end of this week.
