Subject: [SIR-Mail] No.578: OHI3 Wrong antenna alignment from 2012-09-22 until 2013-02-07 From: Laura Sanchez ******************************************************************************** SIR Electronic Mail 2013-02-13 12:35:51 UTC Message No. 578 ******************************************************************************** Author: Rudi Stoeger Ladies and Gentlemen My colleagues Christian Ploetz and Christian Schade arrived in the German Antarctican Receiving Station GARS O´Higgins. They detected an alignment of the antenna for the OHI3 GNSS Permanent Tracking Station to West, instead to North, 2013-02-07. This maybe happened 2012-09-22 when a strong storm threw the antenna from the pillar and a broken adapter screw in the mounting of the antenna was replaced. My colleagues also did a control survey, 2013-02-07. The result for the antenna height, Marker-> ARP Up Ecc. of this control survey is 000.0660 m. Maybe the antenna height changed alredady 2012-09-22 from 000.0668 to 000.0660, but nobody knows ? We already sent an Update of the OHI3 Site Information Form ohi3_20130213.log to the IGSCB. With best regards Rudi ********************************************************************************
