Estimados amigos:

Tal y como ha sido informado previamente vía IGSMAIL-7399 e IGSMAIL-7414, el IGS está próximo a adoptar su nuevo marco de referencia IGS14, consistente con el ITRF2014, esto a partir de la semana GPS 1934 (29.01.2017). Este marco servirá de base para la generación de los productos ofrecidos por el IGS incluyendo la actualización del modelo de calibración de antenas receptoras y de los satélites denominada igs14.atx, sustituyendo al igs08.atx.

Al respecto, estando los productos SIRGAS sustentados en los productos del IGS, la debida migración al nuevo marco debe hacerse efectiva desde la semana 1934 a fin de mantener la consistencia de la red continental respecto al IGS14/ITRF2014. De ahí que resulte necesario adaptar la estrategia de procesamiento seguida por los Centros de Análisis SIRGAS para asegurar la correcta incorporación de los productos IGS dados en IGS14.

A partir de la fecha indicada, las soluciones semanales SIRGAS-CON quedarán vinculadas al marco de referencia IGS14.

Dear friends:

As you know, IGS has announced by IGSMAIL-7399 and IGSMAIL-7414 that it is close to adopt the new reference frame IGS14, consistent with ITRF2014; this will happend since GPS week 1934 (29.01.2017). This new frame will serve as basis for obtaining IGS products including an update for receivers and satellites antenna calibration model, known as igs14.atx that will supersede to igs08.atx.

Due to SIRGAS products are based on IGS products, switch to the new frame must be effective since week 1934, this allow to us guarantee the continental network consistency respecto to IGS14/ITRF2014. Hence, it is necessary adaptation of processing estrategy used by SIRGAS Analysis Centres to ensure the correct implementation of IGS products given w.r.t. IGS14.

The SIRGAS-CON weekly solutions will be aligned to IGS14 reference frame since date indicated before.
